When the babysitter collapsed on Tuesday, little Jamie Anderson found a water bottle and started banging it on the wall. But the 52-year-old woman wouldn’t wake up.

So Jamie called 911. She told the dispatcher in Parma, Ohio, that she was worried because her babysitter had either fallen asleep or died, Fox 8 TV News in Cleveland reported.

“The little girl was fantastic, she was very calm,” Linda Wyman, the city’s communication center manager told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “She even gave a description about how she reacted, that she was shaking and lying on the floor.” Sitter Mimi Rzeszot was taken by ambulance to the hospital and was recovering from the seizure.

Jamie’s mother said the girl learned all about 911 from a Safety Town program last summer. “I’m so proud of her,” Gail Anderson said. Jamie will be honored by Parma officials with a key to the town.

Last month, another youngster called 911 and saved her mother’s life. Read about it here.
